Thanks to all the parents and students who donated money and items for Ms. Betty to wear for the Terry Fox Run.  We had 2 Luigi hats, 1 blue feather boa, two sets of wings - Mr. G. took off with the butterfly wings and Ms. Betty enjoyed swooping around with the black wings.  The wind was really strong at one point and Ms. Betty almost took off into the air.... just kidding! But they were flapping around wildly - the dinosaur headband was a hit because it looked like it was eating Ms. Betty's head.  We also had a pretty red hand band, a fabulous pumpkin orange tuque and a lime green Microsoft hat to wear.  In addition we had a Cat in the Hat hat.  There were lots of hats!  Thanks for the fun and fundraising all done in the honor of our hero Terry Fox.  We raced through the wind and rain, just like Terry.  Our class raised $70.85.  

Wednesday we had our first library day.
Books are due back in two weeks.
